About Us

Symbiosis was established in 1971 by Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar with the aim of providing a 'home away from home' for international students. Symbiosis is guided by the core Vedic principle of "World is one family." Over the past five decades, this vision has fostered a diverse and dynamic community of over 40,000 Indian and International students from more than 85 countries. Symbiosis International (Deemed University), a multi-disciplinary institution with campuses in six Indian cities and Dubai, remains committed to building international understanding through quality education, creating a vibrant space for mutually beneficial exchange and cross-cultural learning.
